DESCRIPTION:Hello all\, \nWe are looking forward to our upcoming professional development presentation which will be held on Saturday 8th August 2026 from 11:00am to 12:30pm \n  \nCV Presents: \nIntroduction to Body-based Expressive Therapy \n  \nWhat to bring: \nCome ready to dive into a guided experiential process. Comfortable clothes and a private space to move freely\, paper & drawing materials (pastels\, pencils). \n  \nThis experiential workshop offers insight into body-based methods to support clients to connect with their body and felt sense. Using body-awareness\, intuitive movement and creative-reflection processes\, we can be resourced to regulate\, shift and integrate emotional states. Be inspired with fresh ways to utilise these modalities for your own personal practice and client work. \n \nCathie Williams is an Award-winning Author and Community Trainer who specialises in Somatic Movement & Expressive Arts Therapy. Founder of Intuitive Self\, her offering encourages client’s agency and creative self-discovery\, learning to work in partnership with the body and access their inner resources to support them in navigating the ebb and flow of this wild life. \n  \nCathie will discuss her experience on this topic\, followed by a Q&A and the option to network with others in the industry in small groups\, following the presentation. \nThis is a 90-minute presentation relevant to the Counselling / Healthcare industries\, complete with an assessment component. DESCRIPTION:Hello all\, \nWe are looking forward to our upcoming professional development presentation which will be held on Saturday 12th September 2026 from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm. \nPlease note the updated start and end time to accommodate our AGM held before hand from 11:00am to 11:30am. \n  \nCV Presents: \nSeeing Differently: Working through a Relational Lens in Therapeutic Practice \n  \nThis presentation will explore how to integrate a relational lens when working with individuals\, with a particular focus on young people in the out-of-home care system. It will also explore how working with horses add depth to the relationship supporting connection\, regulation and therapeutic change. \n  \nSteph Murphy is a registered Social Worker\, specialising in trauma and working with young people in out-of-home care. Steph works in private practice and for an out-of-home care organisation integration relational work\, EMDR and equine therapy. \n  \nSteph will discuss her experience on this topic\, followed by a Q&A and the option to network with others in the industry in small groups\, following the presentation. \nThis is a 90-minute presentation relevant to the Counselling / Healthcare industries\, complete with an assessment component.
