Safe, Supported and Sustainable: Psychological safety in the diverse workplace

This presentation explores the role of psychological safety in fostering diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to enhance wellbeing and reduce the risk of burnout, both when supporting clients and sustaining professional practice. Drawing on social and cognitive neuroscience and trauma-informed principles, the session provides evidence-based insights and practical approaches to creating psychologically safe, more inclusive and sustainable workplaces.

Helen Lowy is a counsellor with qualifications in pharmacy and neuroscience for leaders. Helen is based in Melbourne and specialises in public speaking, workshop facilitation and coaching in psychological and cultural safety. Helen has delivered workshops and presented to multidisciplinary audiences online and in person, statewide and nationally, both in Australia and the UK. 

Helen will discuss her experience on this topic, followed by a Q&A and the option to network with others in the industry in small groups, following the presentation.

This is a 90-minute presentation relevant to the Counselling / Healthcare industries, complete with an assessment component.
